Background: Ben completed his undergraduate degree at Wabash College with a degree in philosophy and psychology. After completing his time at Wabash, he moved to Pittsburgh to attend Duquesne University’s School of Law. He completed his Juris Doctor in 2013, shortly before beginning this MBA program.
Ben has worked as a family court intern under the supervision of Judge Michael Marmo, certified legal intern for Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender, research assistant and co-student manager of Duquesne University School of Law post-conviction DNA project.
Why Duquesne: “My older brother completed this program in July 2013 and extolled its virtue. Additionally, I believe that Duquesne’s program offers something that will be fundamental for business in the future as sustainability is quickly becoming the heartbeat of the business world.”
Beyond Duquesne: He is very interested in criminal defense and law, Platonic and Socratic philosophy, and politics. After completing his MBA, he would like to practice law as a criminal defense attorney and operate a successful property management and development business.
